I had almost forgotten this topic. Indeed, this project would
be nice to get underway. I have at last managed to get my home
computer and home net access working again, so I might get the
chance to work at this in the near future.

We recently started a weekly campaign for players who have never
played in Mystara, so I have had to do a lot of work in introducing
the world for them.

I just have to remember this project when I have time for it -
and that is usually my problem, bad memory. "The same head during
summers and winters", as we say in Finland.

There's a lot of material in the list archives, so I'll try
to keep people's opinions in mind.

On another topic:

In our new campaign I introduced the idea of "comparative
theology" in an encounter at the Desert Garden University. A huge
debate arose about the identities of "gods".

"Those treacherous Thyatians have for ages been trying to
co-opt the religions of others! We all know about their shameful
claims that their fiery Ixion is Tubak of Ethengars, or that
Cretia of Ethengars is Loki of Northmen, who - how conveniently
- is Farbautides of Thyatis! As Nahmeh states: 'Those of weak
mind and heart shall invade you by words and foul treatises.'!"

Oh, indeed it was quite old -- I just managed to read a number of
messages I had left behind.

I like this. I know some people think that the Immortals are so involved
with the mortal world that they wouldn't let such arguments grow among
their followers, but I prefer to have Immortals not that much involved
on such things, so I definitely agree that there is much space for
theology debates.

So I've been taking a bit of a break on my CC2 Known
World map (don't worry, I'm almost done with
Minrothad) and I thought I'd experiment a bit with
some new heraldry artwork I've gotten.

Here's my first test run. It's the full achievement of
Alfheim's coat of arms:

Let me know if you guys think I'm on the right track stylistically.
