Actually, the idea to have the Matera do that came from something I saw as a child in southern California one night. It was a full moon, about 10 times bigger than normal, resting on the horizon and was a very vivid green. I've seen the moon in a similar condition since then, but no where near as bizarre or spectacular. And people complain about the pollution in Los Angeles... I'd be interested in seeing the write up, but I'd just as soon create my own from scratch. I'd probably make him Alphatian, since Glantri gets more than enough lip service.
