The worst that we seem to be facing is the likely loss of a forum or two that we have been using for years -- and the main topic of recent discussions seems to be coming up with alternatives to those forums. If anything, we may actually be seeing an upsurge of interest in Mystara. As a side note, I have grabbed the name "mystara4e" in Yahoogroups and Googlegroups to reserve that name for a list discussing 4e conversions. Once I did that, I realized that I may be going away on vacation right around the time the 4E rulebooks become available in the stores -- so I need any of you who are interested in that topic to subscribe so that I can approve you for posting (anyone whose name I recognize from this list will be approved immediately) and hopefully name some of you as moderators to cover the likely upsurge during the first weekend of June. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kelly, Joe" To: Sent: Monday, May 26, 2008 11:35 AM Subject: [MYSTARA] From a lurker I have not been playing for awhile and am sad to hear the news of Mystara's impending demise? In any case, I have now posted the subscription address to this list and sent invitations to the Googlegroup to both members of the Yahoogroup. The Googlegroup settings all seem okay, so I will post a message to that group as soon as it has any members. I wonder if Google just takes longer than Yahoo to let new groups show up in its directories? ----- Original Message ----- From: "David Knott" To: "Mystara RPG Discussion" Sent: Tuesday, May 27, 2008 12:02 AM Subject: Mystara4E Googlegroup (was From a lurker) > > I am still trying to figure out why the Mystara4E > Googlegroup is not showing up in searches. > > You can join it by sending an e-mail to > mystara4e-subscribe@googlegroups.com. > > Here is a promotion box for the group: > > > > > > > > > >
