Is that working now? I had tried to sign up a long time ago and it never w= orked. I'll go try signing up again after I finish this message. Or how about a link to it that says > "Get updates by email!" at the top of every category page? I don't know about having it on every category page, as that might make peo= ple think they are signing up to be notified only when there is something n= ew in that particular category. > If no one minds me making a plug, it just so happens I've started a MOD for > this forum software that may bridge the gap between the forum and the > mailing list. Is that similar to what the Birthright list & forum uses? As a reader of b= oth the piazza and the MML I wouldn't want to be getting everything twice, = especially since a lot of times it is several days before I get around to r= eading emails. Browsing through unread threads, I came across this one, and it happened to me too. I also found the solution. It appears you can't sign up through sending emails to listserv anymore, but have to use the web interface that can be found at: http://oracle.wizards.com/archives/mystara-l.html - Sverre On Tue, May 27, 2008 at 10:32 PM, Giampaolo Agosta wrote: > 2008/5/25 Mike Harvey : >> FWIW I have subscribed recently with two separate email addresses. It won't actually merge the mailing list with the forums, but it will give people the ability to watch a certain forum or topic (thread) on the boards for new messages and have those sent directly to their email instead of only a link that says "go to the forum to see the update." It doesn't affect the mailing list at all.
