I'm not sure but I don't want to violate the CoC. Second, WITHOUT posting information, I've been kicking around an idea about changing the bonus language list into a bonus General NWP benefit. Part of the reason for this, I often feel from observing people in general, sometimes someone can be very intelligent, but not able to learn foreign languages, or math, or physics. But, you put them in front of a chemistry set and they'll build you a block of C4. Blindfolded. And asleep. My other idea was to allow either Dexterity or Strength to give a bonus weapon proficiency or two (at really high levels) to the fighter. I'm favoring Dexterity (muscle control, reflexes, etc) over strength (brute strength does not necessarily = good fighter). Or maybe the Fighter could have the option to convert a high intelligence bonus into Weapon proficienices! I'm just wondering what other people think: good idea? Bad? I'm on crack? It works great for our group and I can't imagine us playing without that rule. Once in a great while there is the raw dungeon crawl for the pure joy of mass slaughter :D usually this occurs after a nasty night at work! However our characters tend towards fairly balanced groups... but what has been bugging me is that everyone with any brains is a super linguist. hence the suggested changes. We'll see how they become implemented. Not sure.
