...... is going to have a full article about the Dragon Kings of Athas!

Considering i'm the only one on the planet who uses Paizo's Dark Sun conversion, I, at least, am stoked about this article!

I am happy that you are happy- I have noting against paizos work- I subscribe to Dungeon and Dragon and have for years, but I wish that if they were going to do this kind of thing, they would get in with the guys at the Official Website and go from there.

But then in a perfect and fair world I would be really rich to go with my good looks and charm- but like Meatloaf said, two out of three ain't bad! :D

I have nothing against the website, I just prefer to use printed material instead of printing out material. I take both as equally official, but i play with Paizo's version, suplementing with the Athas.org material where Paizo's is lacking.

So, you guys had no warning about this Dragon Kings article? weird....

I wouldn't beat the monkey just yet, as Paizo may publish material relevant enough for us to steal. I'm not bringing my hopes up, but I'm also not discounting the whole attempt in advance.

EDIT: LOL, could it be possible beating the monkey does not mean what I thought it meant?

I'll wait till I can see it, if I can see it since I killed my subscription not too long ago. Guess I will have to head to the local bookstores to nab it. I also have to wait to read what is written about it at enworld since Anthem blocked it with their firewall since it's considered a "game".

Anyways, I can't help but think this is going to be a train wreck from hell. Call me a pessimist, but their track record isn't exactly great.

Thanks Nightdruid!

They are bringing the factions back for Planescape!? SWEET!!!! That was my most favorite part of Planescape, freaking awesome.

As for the SK's, talk about putting foot in mouth...It's cool that they finally came to us for something, now let's hope they don't totally edit it to death and water it down like they did to Noonan's work.

Well, if it'll help, just imagine that you're some Athas Dunerunner chowing down on his last morsal of food while being hunted down by those Sorcerer Kings from Dragon...;)

It was indeed. Glad that the waiting and the secrecy is now over. I'm looking forward immensely to seeing the finished product.

And hum...er...what happens when athas.org releases its own DKs? They'll have to be different, right? Will you be able to pull off something at least as good, or perhaps better than what you sent to Paizo?
