Differences in Campaign Settings. Any Athas historians out there?

I've noticed a few differences in the DS campaigns from 2nd Edition to 3rd Edition. For example in 2nd edition Tectuktitlay is the king of Draj, but when I looked at the City-State of Draj supplement on Athas.org, it states that he has been slain by Rajaat. What happened? Any official cannon out there?
I'm having trouble getting a general feel of where things stand in the 3 separate releases. Is there anything I can do to get a summary of what has occured between the setting during the 1st release, Revised box set and 3rd edition?

I have the Wanderer's Journal and I like the info in there very much. I would like to DM a campaign in that time and perhaps lead the PC's towards the events as they stand in 3E.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Most of that can be found in the revised box set.

The Beyond the Prism Pentad supplement can help you with all those questions.

Tec was killed in FY10 by Rajaat when the latter briefly escaped the Hollow. Before that he was king of Draj, and now that position is taken by Atzetuk, as mentionned in the revised boxed set.

That was in the last Prisim Pentad novel, FYI, BTW, YMMV, blah, blah. blah

The short version. Most of these changes occured in book 5 of the Prism Pentad, and were integrated into the 2nd boxed set (DS2)

Abalach-Re was killed in a duel with Sadira, ultimately consumed by some sort of black goo that bears some relation to the essence of Rajaat.

Borys the dragon was ultimately consumed by that same goo.

Rajaat was released, and fought his remaining champions. He killed Tec, bashing him ove the head with the Obsidian Oracle. He imprisoned Adroponius for 1000 years. He was then re-imprisoned by a massively amplified light spell. The events surrounding his released desroyed the city of Ur-Draxa, rendering the Valley of Dust and Fire no more -- it is now considered to be the center of the Cerullian Storm.

The only city states that currently have Sorcerer Kings -- Urik, Nibenay and Gulg.

The rule of Balic is split between three merchant houses. Raam decended into true chaos, only to be later invaded by the undead Dragon Dreagoth (but that's a DS3 adventure). The Templars and Psionicists of Draj erected a pretender to the throne of Draj, claiming him to be Tec's son -- in reality, he was a mindwiped boy they hope to use as a figurehead to maintain order.

Two city states are being discovered in the north -- Kurn and Eldaarich. They were lost over a thousand years ago when the mad king of Eldaarich drove the dragon away from his city, and other Sorcerer Kings declared the region off-limits.

Those are the broad-strokes. If you want more detail, I suggest checking out the DS2 boxed set, or the supplement Beyond the Prism Pentad. You can get a pdf of DS2 for about $5.

Sorry, I should write without using shorthand not everyone may know.
Belarsko, FY10 means Free Year 10, and its the tenth year of the new calendar started on the death of king Kalak. The events leading to Kalak's death are described in the first Prism Pentad novel, and year ten in the last Prism Pentad novel.

In what year? :D

Kalak's still alive in early Priest's Defiance (Free Year 1). Tectutitlay is still alive in Free Year 10. And Hamanu, by all published accounts, is still alive in Free Year 12-13. Beyond that, we don't know yet.
