Dec 29, 2006 10:36:47 hi i dont play dark sun but have allways been intrested. in the defiler as a class or presteges class can some one fill me in on where i can view its lay out

Dec 29, 2006 10:46:41 Depends on the interpretation. The Athas.org version, the defiler is the same class as a preserver. (both are the wizard class) The Paizo (Dragon/Dungeon Magazines) version, the defiler was some additional elements put on top of the standard wizard. Some people have made prestige class ideas here, while others have made it a base class.

Dec 29, 2006 11:40:58 Go to the Releases section on athas.org and download the Core Rules and the Prestige Class Appendix. You will find information on defilers in the Magic and Feats chapters in the Core Rules, plus you have a handful of defiler prestige classes in the Appendix.
