this is just a sort of survey by me. i was wondering who was going to be buying the 3rd ed dragonlance rule books, and wich ones.

me, i'm buying the DLCS, Age of mortals, and when they come out, the DM screen, and then the beastiary.

P.S. i humbaly beg that this thread not turn into a flame war. :fight!:

I fail to see how it would.

I'm going to get every single one of them.

I'll get the two primary books (the DLCS and Age of Mortal) absolutely, though it will be rather expansive even with my employee discount at the bookstore I work at.

I'll most likely get everything released, but I'm deffinitely getting the DLCS (soon!), the Age of Mortals book, the DM's screen, as well as Key of Destiny and its two coming siblings.

By the way, are they going to be named in "Key of [variable]" format? Or maybe [variable] of Destiny? Just wondering... 'cause this type of format seems more than a little common in Dragonlance. ;)

I'll be buying pretty much anything that is published. I love DL and I'm SO happy to see that its actually being taken seriously as a gaming world rather then just for the books.

I am considering bying the DLCS. Not 100% sure yet. I'll check it out at the store first.

I used to be heavily into DL, but it's been a while. Maybe this is the right time to get back into it.

I'm not going to buy the DLCS. I'm going to steal it.
*lol* Actually, I'm going to buy every single DL gaming product that comes out.

Same here...

Gotta sell my 4-year old to afford it all though. Anyone need a little man around the house? Totally house-broken and could be trained as a butler, shoe-shine boy or coffee table (he holds my beer really good already!) :P

The trilogy is called:

Key of Destiny

Spectre of Sorrow

Price of Courage

;)

So I guess it's the "variable" of "variable" format. ;)

Yep ;) Wanted to avoid the "Dragon of..." convention ;) This is a new era, after all!

I usually only pick up the core rulebooks, I only got the core Ravenloft, Call of CThulhu and Forgotten Realms.

But if / when they release a book for the War of Lance with the stats and such for all the classic characters I will buy that.

I would *LIKE* to get all the books...I wish I had money...will anyone give me money? I'd be willing to sell my brother into slavery. He's really big, he'd be a better worker than that one guy's four-year old.

I'm being 100% serious about this, BTW.

^_^

EDIT: He's also smart. If you're in school, he could do your homework for you. He'd also make a good bodyguard.

Paying for and attending college deeply cuts into my funds, making buying D&D books pretty hard(I bought 3.5 because my old books were starting fall apart). I WILL get the DLCS and the Age of Mortals book(possibly the Beastiary) but not much else.
