Did anyone else get an email from MargaretWeis.com about....

Jul 18, 2003 13:07:58 ....their credit card servers not working correctly the last few days? I got an email from them telling me that I need to call their number and give them my card info. I talked to Renae (who was mentioned in the email) and she took my info. I didn't think until afterward that it might have been a scam.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Did you call a number mentioned in the email, or did you actually check what their real business number was before calling?
