Does the Turn Undead ability of the Knights of the Sword stack with their Cleric Turn Undead ability? Or must they pick one over the other? What about the uses per day?

I’m trying to find the answer in the Dungeon Masters Guide 3.5 but I can’t find anything on it. Weird.

Yes, u add your cleric levels. Just like a multiclass cleric/paladin.

I'm sure they stack.

"If he is also a cleric, he adds his KoS levels -1 to his cleric levels to determine his turning ability" page 89 of DLCS

It truly wouldn't make sense any other way but then we all know that some rules seem to miss the makes sense police.

Well, here’s the strange part that prompt my question. In the KoS prestige class it states that they Turn Undead at their KoS level -1.

Unless I’m reading it wrong it seems like cleric and KoS shared abilities act separately of each other. That doesn’t make much sense though.

No, what that means is that if you are a lvl 8 cleric and lvl 6 Knight of the Sword then you turn undead at lvl 13 (8 for cleric 6-1 for KoS).

It states that pretty clearly in the Turn undead section of the KoS abilties.
