Okay...for this first picture...the blind man is obviously Solarmiranthius (I may have spelled that wrong)...anyway...it's obviously Mirror. But...who's the other man?

And for this one...well...it's just a beautiful painting of Malys (no one paints Overlords like Easly! :D) Anyway...you look at this picture and wonder, "How in the Abyss did Mina kill her with a dragonlance!?!" Whew...it's no wonder it barely hurt her when Dhamon did it. It took devine intervention (and a semi-dracolich) to finally do her in. Amazing.

I think I'm actually going to miss her...

Razor in human form.

Okay...I know it's only been a year and a half since I read Vanished Moon but refresh my memory...why is Razor hurt? And what's he doing with Mirror?

I kind of remember something about the two of them traveling together...but I don't remember how or why. (Oi, I'm going to have an embalism...heh heh)

He was pretending to be a wounded officer, and he and Mirror were trying to get to Sanction to stop Mina.

Cam

Well, I should hope not, because, quite frankly, I care very little for what Easley has done since the SAGA boxed sets and the DoaNA trilogy covers.

All the dragons look alike, and while the dragons are appropriately sized, they look more like over-muscled humans with dragon features, rather than dragons.

Do you not like the Dragons he painted in the DLCS and the AoM either?

Which ones were his? If the dog Gold dragon(seriously, look at it) is his, he has lost my respect. If he did the bronze dragon, he is a god.

Wow, really!?!

The Gold Dragon from the DLCS is the back ground for my computer right now. Isn't it weird how art is so completely and wholy objective?

Anyway, Easly's dragons in the DLCS are the Red and Brass Dragons (also Gerard uth Mondar). In the AoM he did the Malys, Frost, Sable, Skie, and Beryl. And I think that's it for that book.

The art in the DLCS is, as a whole, rather disappointing. The AoM art is much better though.

The only one that, to me, looks like an Easley, is the red dragon. Why? Because it looks like about every other dragon he's done in the last 5 years.

I don't know what it is, really. I mean, Easley's style shifted once the 5th Age got going and he did the art. I like his pre-5th Age stuff alot more.

And did anybody else notice that Mina suddenly has shoulder-length hair on the cover of AoM? I thought she had kept it short.

I think it was mentioned somewhere in the War of Souls trilogy that her hair had grown a little.

Besides, it's been six months since the War of Souls. Her hair could very well be longer than what it is in the AoM cover.

Ick, it looks ok, but just the way its head is drawn in conjunction with its body makes it look canine.

Oh well, different strokes for different folks :P

I’m so glad Dragonlance has a western look for gold dragons. I never liked the standard D&D Chinese gold dragon from the Monstrous Manual.

Actually, I think DL dragons officially have the Monster Manual look. And I've got "proof".

Check the dragonspawn entry in th DLCS. It mentions that dragonspawn might have some of the features of their "parent" dragon, like blues having horns on their noses or greens having fins on their backs. Those are features of the MM blues and greens.

In whatever DL campaigns I run, dragons have the MM looks.

Yeah, the rest of the dragons come straight from the MM. But look at the picture of the gold dragon in the DL Campaign page 241.

Seen it. I greatly prefer the MM version.

And here I thought the idea of having different campaign worlds was so that each could be unique from each other. ;)

Alright, what about the very western looking dragon Laurana is riding in that old classic DL picture? I'm sure you've seen the Golden General picture I'm refering to.

Nope. Haven't seen it. The only pic I've seen of Laurana riding a dragon is the DLCS cover.

Well, that's okay because I made a mistake. She's riding a Silver Dragon. The picture I was thinking off is with Fizban and Gunther.

Here's a link to it. The quality is not too good, you could probably get a better view of it in Elmore's official site.

I agree. That's one quite ugly dragon.

Gunthar isn't riding a Gold dragon, that's a copper dragon...Cymbal, I presume.

Either way...that is definately the original DL design of the Copper dragons.

That's acutally one of my favorite dragon paintings.
