Do a search on the boards and stop being lazy. ;)

Plenty of threads out there about this.

Hehe, isn't that the truth.

But come on people, how freaking hard is it to do a search.

I weep for the world, it's become too damn lazy.

Don't go teach in highschool, you'll shoot yourself when you see how much this is true...

Damn kids these days!

Why do I always have to be the good cop? Its just not fair.

Yes, there is going to be a full scale blowout for Dark Sun in Dragon, Dungeon, and Polyhedron magazines, similar to what they did with the Incursion (Githyanki invasion) campaign not long back. The articles will be at least mostly written by David Noonan (who's work has been appearing all over both magazines for a few years now, you've likely read many of his articles and adventures without even knowing it). He's professed to be an avid fan of Dark Sun, so with luck, his conversion will at least be respectable. The Athas.org team has nothing to do with these articles. Dragon magazine isn't going to reprint Athas.org's conversion, or use any of the already presented material (hard to sell something to someone when they can already get it for free off the web).

Well, any other questions?

Yeah, and he helped with UA too, woot.

Deeeeeeeeeeep breath everyone, and have some cotton candy.

It's not always obvious that "What the hell is stuck between my Toes?!" thread contains a tidbit about the upcoming Dragon. Granted, I think there's a few threads that are entitled exactly that (I'm too lazy to look for them right now), but they might be two or six or ten pages back by now.

Just answer the boy with a quick answer and move on.

That said, yes, Thurman, there is quite a bit of info and quite an involved and animated discussion about that very thing. We've all yelled ourselves hoarse about it, though, so you'll just have to go digging for that previous post.

I'll just start giving the answer of "parfaits".

Why? Because according to a talking donkey played by Eddie Murphy in the movie Shrek, everyone loves them.

At least that can keep my sanity, hehe.

i appreciate the quick, mature response. as was pointed out the threads aren't so clear all the time, and with so little time to plan for a session i can't waste a lot of time just browsing for things i would like to see come to be a reality.

p.s.- i saw a user out there looking for out of print DS stuff. i can probably help with that if your still looking.

thanks again and take care.

Even more excuses....

Doing a simple search on the Dark Sun boards for Dragon Dungeon I got the following results:

http://boards1.wizards.com/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=437082&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending

How was this too hard again? That took me a whole 5 seconds.

Oh no! I lost 5 seconds! Oh the horror!

Please don't bother with an excuse, I've heard them all. ;)

*still disgruntled about the whole good cop thing*

Don't take any insult by anyone. Its simply that you are one of a few dozen that, in the last few months, have come on in with the same question. Some people get a little irked when they feel as if they're repeating themselves over and over. Searching without knowing exactly what your searching for can be irritating (try searching for rules dealing with dreams and you get 30 pages of TCG threads . . . why, I ask you, why!?!?), so I kinda understand. Plus, I'd rather see new faces on the boards (yes, the rest of you are getting old :D ). Then, after you've been here a little while, you can truly earn a good facial stabbing for saying something off the wall. Welcome aboard.

I have a dead horse with the words "Boards FAQ needed" tattooed onto it that I could drag out and flog if it would help...

Checking the front page of athas.org might be a good idea too.

There's no horses!

There's no horses in Dark Sun! :D

Can I borrow that knife of yours?

I'll be getting some neighbors of my own in April.
