Thanks for the advertisement.

This forum might be better for getting data and info about the world of Mystara.

EDIT: Man I haven't been here in a while. Time to update my profile.

SSI put one out years and years ago, set in the Known World. Wasn't very good imho. I think it is over at underdogs somewhere, I forget the name of it.

There was also a really great map someone made for Age of Wonders that was the Known World, over at AOW Heaven.

Need info on Mystara? I have a fairly extensive collection of official Mystara material, as evidenced by the following link:

Nice site there. It will help especially with figuring out rulers for some of the Known World regions. Thanks. I'll make sure to credit your site as an information resource.

And I will be there, count on it Tjedge! I have one question though: How are you going to handle Magic in the mod?

I have some spells that will act like missiles and nukes. I will also have small wonders that will build units for different civs. That way I can not worry whether or not the AI will use them. It normally doesn't. Mages will be a form of artillery as Druids will be more like Recon units. Clerics will be something in between. Shamans and Wiccans will be in for some civs as well. The game is very limited unfortunatly, but with the ability to add skills from other types of units like rebase I can allow Mages to teleport from one city to another.

The way small wonders forces the AI to us eit is because they will build all the small wonders because they are maintenance free and not just an improvement. ;)

Great idea! Clever even.

If you like fantasy and Turn-Based Strategy tjedge, theres a little known series of games called Age of Wonders(I, II, and Shadow Magic). They are alot of fun, mixing RPG and TBS type games toghether.

I wasn't aware those were turn-based. Now I might have to take a closer look as those are my favorite type of games. Real time is ok, but more fun with friends while turn based is more fun with the AI.

Somebody made an *amazing* scenario for AOW 1 based on the Known World, its on the AOW Heaven site.
