Are there any notable thieves guild in Pashin or would the Dungeon Master have to make them up on his own ?

The way I look at Pashin, there isn't an organized Thieves' Guild, per se. It went from a small village/town to a "fortress city" almost over night. There is lots of crime in the town, even with the presence (or maybe because of) the Dark Knights, however, there isn't an organized Guild of Thieves, more like small independent groups.

Give it time and a single group will probably rise to power, but right now, it's more like a gang war zone.

I am going to get destroyed by my players on Friday.

I don't think there's a formal 'theives guild' but there definately is organized crime.

As shown in the Keys of Destiny preview chapter Blackbird runs a prostitution ring, and has various shadey dealings going through the Wounded Crow. Blackbird is a major player in the crimial underworld of Pashin, if not the top man.

A theives guild is basically just a gang. What we commonly think of as a theives guild has grown up around a D&D convention of training rogues for dungeon crawling.

This adventure is a "Challenge of Champions" from Dungeon Magazine right? I would handle that by having a Legion of Steel cell that is training (or scoping out) various adventurers to recruit. That would cover the various classes for the NPC's in the adventure as well as provide a reason that they are all together.

If it is not "Challenge of Champions", I could give you more suggestions if you tell the adventure name and the issue #.
