I understand that these are supposed to be mostly monster based prc's but I do think that this one would work out for a sorc pretty darn good. Specifically shifting knowledege and improved shifting. Also spellshaping itself could have many uses. Wanna cast a fireball but your friends are in the way you can reduce the size and use a lower level spell.

Of course the requirments are pretty high to get in since for a human you would need four feats. Still they wouldn't be wasted feats since they are all useful ones.

Really I'm just babbling because I can't sleep. So anybody else have any thoughts.

Yes. I like the class too.

Speaking of BoK prestige classes, anyone notice how the Child of Chemosh's Danse Macabre and Rigor Mortis descriptions of the save DCs are screwy?

They are listed as DC 10 + ? HD + Charisma modifier.

I'm assuming the ? should really be 1/2.

No I didn't notice that but I beat your right. I have ? marks there so I beat they were going to look it up and forgot to. Using the question marks as place holders.

I have to admit I really think these prcs were really well done monster prc's. They fit the feel that they all were going for.

Yup, you would be correct in assuming that the value would be 1/2.

And yes, the ambient tempest was designed in such a way that even really dedicated non-monstrous sorcerers could take advantage of it if they wanted to. The basic effect of the PrC was to allow one to simulate the old SAGA spell system of great control over the spells cast. I'm glad you like it.

Actually, only two of these feats are necessary if the character has supernatural or spell-like abilities, and many prestige classes confer such abilities and/ or bonus metamagic feats (e.g. Sword Knight, Academy Sorcerer, Citadel Mystic, Legion Mystic/Sorcerer, Spellfilch, War Mage); not to mention certain mystical domain powers (e.g Turn undead, speak with animals)
