Sequence of events question

Ok, I am a bit confused, I know the Army of the One God drove out the elves (at least the SIlvanesti) and then the ogres and minotaurs did it again. The Qualinesti were subjugated by Beryl and the Knights of Nerika and there was a dome that kept all living things out of the forest of Wayreth.

Can someone string these events in proper order for me as well as detail who raised the shield, when and how it was destroyed?

Cheers

... Most of the Qualinesti fled their homeland with the help of the dwarves after Beryl decided to attack them. Some stayed behind for the final confrontation with Beryl. The refugees flee towards the Silvanesti homelands. The Shield is actually covering the Silvanesti forest, not wayreth. Shortly after the Dark Knights penetrate the shield, they are forced to leave in defense of the recently captured city of Sanction. The elves (Qualinost refugees and Silvanesti) decide to attack the Dark Knights at Sanction, and a large army leaves the Silvanesti homelands, opening up the way for invasion and occupation by the Minotaurs.

But don't quote me.

As was stated, most of the Qualinesti fled when Beryl came to attack. Some stayed behind. The resulting fight at Qualinost killed Beryl, taking with her many of the elves that stayed behind, including Laurana. This act also destroyed Qualinost and created Nalis Aren (spelling) the lake of death.

The Silvanesti were tricked by Cyan Bloodbane - in the guise of an elf (the same green dragon that twisted Lorac's dreams and created the nightmare when he attempted to use the dragon orb) into erecting a barrier around Silvanost in order to "protect" them. In truth, the magic used in the shield was slowly killing off the elves. Mina and a contingent of her knights slipped past the shield, exposed Cyan for what he really was, and killed him.

The knights moved on for further conquest taking the largest part of their army with them, and in so doing, weakened their own defenses in Silvanost, making it relatively easy for the minotaurs to come in and wipe out any resistance and take over. The elves that were still around were already weakened from the effects of the shield, so they didn't put up much of a resistance. All that could, fled the city as soon as possible and joined the ranks of the refugee elves from Qualinost. Still others split off in their own directions, hence the large elven slums that have popped up in many different towns across Ansalon.

The ogres IIRC, never entered Silvanost, but staged large skirmishes in the woods outside Silvanost and killed elves in large numbers. What was worse about it was the ogres were hunting Mina and her army, but lost them when Mina slipped past the shield. The ogres hung around outside the barrier looking for the Dark Knights, and were all set up for a slaughter when the elves entered the woods after the shield finally dropped...

I guess anything is possible. IIRC though, Mina and the Dark Knights killed Cyan after his cover was blown.

Well...it was a passing reference in the DoaVM "Appendix"...but that doesn't mean that it's true, apparently.

Very cool idea, but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for a story of official stats on Cyan the Dracolich.

However...there is a blue dragon skelletal warrior in Storm's Keep with Lord Krell. Not really a dracolich, I don't think...but still a skelletal dragon. (even though technically, Krell's not a high enough level death knight to even create skelletal warriors )

Is this Krell a real person from a novel or someone that was just included so that DL could have a Death Knight?

Ausric Krell first appeared in the DLCS, but he's going to play a part in the new Mina trilogy written by Margaret Weis. For more information, check out www.margaretweis.com.
