Can anyone recommend any above average Greyhawk modules that appeared in Dungeon before, say, issue 90? I'm not looking for a complete list or anything, just some gems.

Definitely. That is a fantastic table of GH-related material in Dungeon. Terrific job, Allan.

And here is the update of Grodog's info:

Dungeon #109 (April 2004) - Hardby, City of the Scorned - Paul Looby - City description

Dungeon #111 (June 2004) - Strike on the Rabid Dawn - Frank Brunner - D&D3.5e, level 15. The PCs take on one of the new Hierarchs of the Horned Society to prevent the release of a major fiend. The adventure takes place in Hardby.

Dungeon #112 (July 2004) - Maure Castle - Rob Kuntz & Gary Gygax - D&D3.5e, level 12. A legendary castle once visited by Mordenkainen himself. Eli Tomorast of the demon-hands. Kerzit the Guardian. Need we say more?

Dungeon #113 (August 2004) - LG: Knights of Holy Shielding - Rick LaRue - All you ever wanted to know about the defenders of the Shield Lands.

Yep, I'm a little behind on the Dungeons....

I will update other parts of the GH site soon, too, including some additions to the Grodog's Castle Greyhawk section....

I was not too impressed by June's dragon, yeah it was nice to have that castle but the main guy is no threat to Mordenkenian.

You have to remember, Mordy was 35 years younger when he encountered Eli. He wasn't the ubermage he is now.

infact IIRC Mordy was 12th level in the original module "Mordenkainen's fantastic adventure".

Still, it's fun to read that article describing Mordenkainen and Bigby venturing beneath Maure Castle.

Even taking into account Mordenkainen was around 12th lvl and Bigby around 10th at the time, can you imagine two wizards - ALONE! - going through a dungeon?

No fighter, no rogue, no cleric. No support at all.

Those were the days..

I had forgotten that they had gone down alone to Castle Greyhawk!
