Okay, you and I both know that there are dozens - but it sometimes seems as if the Circle of Eight, and certain arcane adversaries of theirs, dominate the political end of things in Greyhawk. I'm sure there are some non-wizards out there who meddle in politics and war. Let me shout out a couple of examples so you can see what I mean -

* Korrenth Zan (LE human monk, Scarlet Brotherhood)
* Nezmajen (NE human(?) cleric, Horned Society)
* Riggby (LG human cleric, Church of Rao)

1. Drax
2. Nerof Gasgal
3. Turrosh Mak

(I just took these guys off the new Canonfire poll, I put up last week)

Turin Deathstalker (the best ever!!!)

isn't he the head of Greyhawk's Guild of Assassins? ... hates hobgoblins (or is it orcs?)

He is retired and last we heard leading the defenders of one of the wild coast cities. IIRC he hates all "humaniods" with a passion.

Tang the Horrific, whose merest touch turns one into a tasty orange-flavored powder- just add water for a tasty beverage! Known to be the favorite drink of Celestian and other "star wanderers".

Anyways....

Eric's Cousin - 1e Rouge's Gallery

Not to be a stickler, but it is "Erac's Cousin," no?

Some of these NPCs aren't what I had in mind. I was referring to movers and shakers whose influence would be felt across the land. While Serten, Gord, Guilana and Erac's Cousin are all Greyhawk NPCs, they don't have the sort of influence as "behind the scenes" players that I was thinking of. I guess I should have explained more clearly what I was looking at. (I was going to say that Tang the Horrific and King Archbold are disqualified on the grounds of being dead, but I remembered in time that some of us don't use the Greyhawk Wars chronology. ;)

Also, who the heck is Bestmo?

And why hasn't anybody named Obmi yet?

I have to say it due to the recent Dungeon he re-appeared in.

Warduke! :D
