ClarkValentine sparked this idea when I was asking about a specific Prestige Class from the Draconomicon. The name has a nice ring to it, so I decided to see if the community here could give me some ideas on what this order would be like(Structure, requirements, etc.) ?

I should note that the "Order of Sylvara" just popped into my head on a whim. I have no idea if it completly contradicts some element of canon somewhere.

It would be non-canon, obviously, but just use your imagination. Model them after the Solamnics, or even the Legion of Steel. Look at warriors' guilds in any other campaign setting, and steal the structure from them (Purple Dragon Knights from the Realms, mayhaps.)

Or even have the PC taking the PrC be the first and founding member - called by some dragon in a dream to found the order, have a secret or two (meaning a special class ability) revealed in that dream, then leave it up to the player how to proceed.

That would a cool elven knighthood.

See Sylvyana was the elven queen of Silvanesti during the Time of Huma. She was known to be a follower of Chemosh and the lover of the Human Druid Waylorn Wyvernsbane. She apparently escaped Silvanesti, though her final fate remains unknown. Waylorn himself went into a magical sleep so that he could still be alive in the future to face her.

So what is Sylvyana now? Could be a lich, perhaps a demon, perhaps a Witchlin. In any case, she could be responsible for founding a knighthood dedicated to the Lord of Undeath. She would get along well with Mina I think, given their mutual hatred and desire for vengence against the elves.

Sorry, I misspelled the name. I meant Silvara. The silver dragon in Elven guise from the Chronicles.
