With the Dragonrider PrC, your draconic mount gets bonus hit dice. Coupla questions.

Do the bonus hit dice the dragon gains count towards it's size advancement?

What about it's age?

EX: Juvenile Blue (16 HD) gains +4 HD from the Dragonrider - does that make him a Young Adult? If not, but, say, the next age category goes up a size category, does the dragon as well, even if he doesn't go up the actual age cat?

Also, it doesn't say yay or nay to this - do the bonus HD give the dragon feats? It says no to skills, but naught about feats....

Thanks.

Correct, since when a dragon is dismissed or the rider dies, the HD are lost, the dragon does not age at all when the HD are gained.

The bonus HD from the class gives the dragon BA, saving throws and hit points but he dont change size, gain feats, or skills, the dragons grow older only with time and need to lvl up their "Dragon levels" to keep advancing as dragons (from the draconomicon, a very nice book ).

My GF has a dragon rider on my campaign and im planning to run her an adventure for her dragon alone to gain the XP if she wants to keep using him as a mount.
