#1 zombiegleemax Jun 15, 2005 18:50:36	Hi Everyone, I have been looking for the two old (some people think crappy) Dark Sun PC Games. -DarkSun: Shattered Lands -DarkSun: Wake of the Ravager I have found a couple "diskonly" copies on ebay, but if anyone has either one of these games used I would be interested in buying it from you. #2 zombiegleemax Jun 16, 2005 0:50:31	who says they're crappy? they're my favourite games! check out "http://dso.zidev.com/downloads.html" they have them up there for free, with manuals, official manuals (thanks to me ) & other stuff... i am not sure if they work because i have the cd's, but give them a try!
#3 zombiegleemax Jun 16, 2005 4:34:48	They're not crappy! I just ran DS1 on my Dos emulator! Hell, DS2 is what got me into (C)RPGs after all... :D
#4 jon_oracle_of_athas Jun 16, 2005 4:39:39	Truth be told, they do have their share of bugs. I remember not being able to finish the games because of some of those bugs - and the patches didn't do me much help either

I remember not being able to finish the games because of some of those bugs - and the patches didn't do me much help either I managed to finish both... I played the two games so many times I could detect where were the bugs and just avoid then..(as you avoid stepping on a puddle, for example). These two games were responsible for dragging me into the RPG world... and I also hold them responsible for Dark Sun Brasil and all the love and admiration I have for this campaign setting!!!

#8 zombiegleemax Jun 22, 2005 21:20:58	I wonder if I ever hit one of those... I could never finish shattered lands. Either that or I'm just stuck trying to figure out where to go next.
#9 balican_gigolo Jun 23, 2005 19:35:05	I just got my hands on DS1 not too long ago. It was awesome. I mean, to play a game from a setting that I've loved for a long time. Wow. I'm trying to get wake of the ravager but it's proving to be difficult. I tried the link provided above with Ds1 and 2 for free but could not make DS2 work at all. I read though that you could bring your PCs from DS1 into DS2. I'd like to know if it was a good thing about the game. comments?
