The Bone Bandit Returns

Fall of 1020 AC: Darokin and Thyatis launch a joint operation called Blindingstrike, where the Thyatis commander plans destroy a major orc seatlements. He expected a quick victory, but encounter fierce resistance from the orcish defenders, who had dug into the rugged terrain and prepared elaborate fortifications. The battle becomes a bloody stalemate, as both sides suffer heavy casualties and make little progress.

Winter of 1021 AC: The Bone Bandit, a notorious necromancer, intervenes in the battle by unleashing a horde of undead rats along with bats on both the human and orc armies.

The undead rats and bats explode when they are killed, creating a chain reaction of carnage. The unsuspecting soldiers and warriors are caught off guard by the rodent plague and are overwhelmed by the bone blasts. In the end, the Bone Bandit sits on a throne of corpes, leaving behind only snow covered fields of death and destruction. Over one thosand bodies of orc and humans lay dead. A few surviving Thyatian flyers witness his massacre and decide to retreat to report it to their superiors.
