Because of their cinematic size, the indominus rex is noisy while moving, and cannot surprise anything 50% of the time. The other 50% of the time, it is cinematically quiet and it surprises on a 1-4 on 1d6 while moving. While still and in forested areas, the indominus rex can only be seen on 1-4 on 1d6. The indominus has the DNA of a chameleon and frog that hide it from sight and infravision.

The indominus rex may actually swallow prey whole if the attack roll is 19 or 20. Treasure might be found in their stomachs.

I know the rule about cinematic size is strange, but it really was part of the movie. Sometimes it was frighteningly stealthy, other times it was roaring and saying 'Look at me! Hey! I'm a predator, look at me!'
