Firstborn son to Elsa the Seal and Jarl Geirstein Thorgelson, Lot always knew that he was chosen to carry on his father's line and name. He trained hard to become a great warrior and is already a veteran of many conflicts. His brother Bue was always the more thoughtful and sensible of the two, but Lot was assured that he was the strongest. Lot stood fully behind his father's plans to usurp the throne.
When Lot heard of his brother's betrayal, he was overcome with fury and the need for vengeance. Rashly, he challenged Bue to a duel, but though Lot cheated, in the end, he was the one who lost, a defeat which cost him his left eye.
Lot later managed to escape captivity with the aid of his sister Oda and he continues to lie low, planning his brother's demise, while his wound heals.
In combat Lot prefers wielding a great two-handed sword of excellent quality (+2 to hit, +1 to damage) and his favourite armour is banded mail.
Lot would dearly love to free his mother from thralldom to King Hord, but the only other living relative (he believes his father to be dead) that he cares even remotely for is his sister Oda.
