Merry Pirates Feats

Heroic Tier Feats

Expert Sailor [Human or Halfling, Merry Pirate]
Prerequisite: Human or Halfling, from the Merry Pirate Isles region
Benefit: You gain a +2 bonus to any skill check pertaining to movement, navigation, ship handling, or avoiding hazards aboard a ship.

To the Rails! [Human or Halfling, Merry Pirate]
Prerequisite: Human or Halfling, from the Merry Pirate Isles region
Benefit: You gain a +6 bonus to initiative checks while aboard a ship. This decreases to +2 when not on a ship.

Boarder [Human or Halfling, Merry Pirate]
Prerequisite: Human or Halfling, from the Merry Pirate Isles region
Benefit: You gain proficiency and a +2 feat bonus to damage with Rapiers and Crossbows.

Hold-Fast [Human or Halfling, Merry Pirate]
Prerequisite: Human or Halfling, from the Merry Pirate Isles region
Benefit: When an effect forces you to move
through a pull, a push, or a slide
you can move 1 square less than the effect specifies. This means an effect that normally pulls, pushes, or slides a target 1 square does not force you to move unless you want to.

Honour Among Thieves [Human or Halfling, Merry Pirate]
Prerequisite: Human or Halfling, from the Merry Pirate Isles region
Benefit: You gain a +2 bonus to Will saves vs. Charm effects. Against effects that would cause you to break your word, this bonus increases to +4.

Swashbuckler [Human or Halfling, Merry Pirate]
Prerequisite: Human or Halfling, from the Merry Pirate Isles region
Benefit: You gain a +2 bonus to Bluff checks. Additionally, you gain a +1 bonus AC and Initiative while wearing Cloth, Leather, or no armour.

Paragon Tier Feats

Sea Wizard [Human or Halfling, Merry Pirate]
Prerequisite: Human or Halfling, from the Merry Pirate Isles region,
Benefit: Your powers gain a +1 cold damage, as the target is buffeted by freezing winds carrying frozen spray. Additionally, if you miss and would normally cause no damage, you may instead inflict cold damage equal to your Intelligence modifier.

Sea Wizard [Human or Halfling, Merry Pirate]
Prerequisite: Human or Halfling, from the Merry Pirate Isles region,
Benefit: On a successful hit with a spell, you may cause the target to shift 2 away from you as they are pushed by hurricane winds.

First Mate [Human or Halfling, Merry Pirate]
Prerequisite: Human or Halfling, from the Merry Pirate Isles region; Expert Sailor or Boarder
Benefit: You gain a +2 bonus to Intimidate checks. Additionally, whenever an ally within 3 scores a critical hit, you may shift 1.

Grizzled Captain [Human or Halfling, Merry Pirate]
Prerequisite: Human or Halfling, from the Merry Pirate Isles region; Expert Sailor or Boarder
Benefit: Your allies within 10 gain a +1 bonus to Initiative, to Hit, and Damage rolls. This increases to a +2 bonus while on a ship.
