First of all, let me say that I agree that MManchuria is too big. Mystaros suggested earlier in my correspondence with him that we could add more MAfrican cultures in the area, so this is certainly a possibility. When I first made the map, I drew no borders for MManchuria, I called everything outside of the main countries MManchuria. As for RW Manchuria: It is now part of China, but was not for centuries. The Manchu were another group of "barbarians," much like the Mongols. The Manchu hordes actually conquered China several centuries ago, and began the Manchu dynasty, also known as something else which escapes me now. This was the last Chinese dynasty (anyone who saw , Pu Yi was a Manchu emperor). Japan attacked and conquered Manchuria in the Thirties, and then China took it back after World War 2. I located MManchuria there to provide a barbarian culture on the NE side of Chung-Eun, to balance the Jennites to the NW. We certainly don't need to have it at all, but IMHO we should have something hostile to both Chung-Eun and Jiku-Shiru there. Patrick
