Mummy’s Poisonous Curse

The curse was made create long ago and lost until a researcher at the GSoM rediscovered the spell.

Mummy’s Poisonous Curse

Area of Effect: One creature
Saving Throw: Neg.

This spell allows the caster to inflict a deadly curse on a living creature that they touch. The creature must make a saving throw vs. poison or be poisoned, taking 1d10 points of damage per round until they die or are cured. From a dispel magic or remove curse. If the creature dies from the poison, they rise as an undead poison mummy under the control of the caster. The mummy has the following statistics:

*The poison requires a saving throw vs. poison at -2 or the victim takes an additional 2d6 damage and is paralyzed for 1d4 rounds. The poison can be cured by a neutralize poison spell or a successful heal check at -4.

The mummy has a movement rate of 9", which means it can move 90 yards per round outdoors, or 90 feet per round indoors. The mummy retains any class abilities and special defenses that it had in life. The mummy is loyal to the caster and obeys their commands, but it also hates all living things and will attack them if not restrained. The caster can only have one mummy under their control at a time. If they cast this spell again, the previous mummy becomes free-willed and hostile to the caster.

The material component for this spell is a piece of linen cloth soaked in embalming fluid with a drop of centipede blood.
