Very cool! A brand new NPC from Mystara. While it is true that we don't know much about this character, except that he was eventually trapped in the Feywild, I think this has a lot of potential.

Timeline: It is not super important where this fits into the timeline since time works differently in the realms of the Fairie. However, I generally assume that the 5E books are set in the future compared to Mystara's AC1000/AC1010. For this reason, I think Puff Rivernoggin-Lemonseed (or his relatives) could easily be used on Mystara in either the pre or post WotI eras. At one point he found himself trapped in the realms of Fairie, but who knows what he was up to before that? Maybe he found himself in Alfheim during the Shadowelf invasions and was lost there as part of enchantments trying to protect the Trees of Life? Or he could have been trapped at some other point. At some point, perhaps after running this adventure, Puff Rivernoggin-Lemonseed, would be able to escape, hopefully to return to Mystara. Who knows what he would do or what he would bring with him upon his return? This puts this character in a group of other Mystara characters appearing on other worlds.

Setting implications: The Wild Beyond the Witchlight states that the character is from the Known World, but does not provide any further details. My immediate assumption is that he would be from The Five Shires. However, The Rivernogginses and the Lemonseeds are not among the major clans of the Five Shires. These could easily be minor clans of course, or Puff Rivernoggin-Lemonseed could be from another Known World country like Darokin or Karameikos. I think it would actually be interesting to use the Rivernogginses and the Lemonseeds as two clans that sometimes intermarry, found on the Darokin side of the Darokin/Karameikos border. Maybe Hinmeet or Mar could be their hometowns? Or both? What happened after Puff Rivernoggin-Lemonseed disappeared? Did he leave a Bilbo Baggins style manor behind? Do his relatives still quarrel over the inheritance? Will they return his property to him upon his return, or would he need help from PCs to get things sorted out? Maybe giant rats moved in as well?

Lots of opportunities there!
