Light of Rad:(sp)At 1st level the Shepherd of Rad gains the ability to detect divine spellcasters as a paladin detects evil.

Divine Caster: Through his strong faith at 3rd level a Shepherd gains the ability to cast divine spells as a 1st level cleric and access to one domain of the Immortal Rad. He gains no other cleric abilities such as turning or spontaneous casting.

Smite Divine:(su)A Shepherd of Rad can smite divine spellcasters at 4th level as a paladin smites evil. Once per day she can add her int bonus to her attack rolls and +1 damage per class level. She can use this ability with spells.

Smite Dwarf:(su)At 6th level a Shepherd of Rad gains the ability to smite dwarves.

A couple of notes: in previous editions of the game access to 1st and 2nd level cleric were not granted by a patron deity(Immortal) but by one's strong faith, hence the divine spellcasting ability above.

A see the Shepherds as almost an inquisition-type faith hunting down rogue clerics and plague bearing dwarves, although I don't think there is anything cannon to support this. This is just my personal view. This in why I gave them some of there special abilities.

I debated whether or not to give them a wizards base attack or clerics, but decided on clerics.

Is there anywhere that describes what kind of vestments(colour etc) the Shepherds wear? It might help me flesh things out a bit. Thanks.
