Glantrian Magic Item: Ring of Storage

The ring user can force the entrance open at cost of (on the 4 use) for 7 hp, (on the 5 use) for 14hp, (on the 6 use) for 28 hp, (on the 7 use) for 56 hp, even (on the 8 use) for 112 hp if forced for the 9th use in a week will disintegrate the wearer (no save). Magic will not heal damage done by this method. Heals at a rate of 1 hp per day (or 3 hp per day of rest).

The user of the ring can access an extradimensional storage. The user actives the ring and an entrance to the space appears. The entrance shimmers faintly and is 5 feet wide and 10 feet tall. The wearer of the ring and any creatures the user designates when the user actives the ring can enter the extradimensional storage space as long as the portal remains open. The ring user can open or close the portal if the wearer is within 30 feet of it. When the entrance is closed the timer ends.

Portal will remain open for 30 minutes or until ring user closes the entrance.

Beyond the portal the atmosphere is clean, fresh, and warm. No moisture and ample light.

The ring accesses an extradimensional storage equal to level of ring's user. 10 feet cube per level of ring wearer up to maximum (36th level will get 36: 10'x10'x10' cubes).

The rings first appeared around 1018 AC around Glantri City and have become the must have accessory for adventurers and merchants alike. A few Merchants in Darokin and Princes in Glantri have been given a free ring. Adventurer groups of level 15+ can request a mission to earn a "free" ring for their group from The Adventurers Guild.

 

The Twist: The creator of the Ring of Storage has built in a few add features that no one is aware of. The creator can view all ring storage spaces with a special crystal ball. The creator of the rings can with a master ring can access anyone's storage space.
