Rude Conjuration was created by a student at the Great School of Magic as a joke. Despite efforts by the faculty to stamp it out, the spell is widely circulated on scrolls and students are eager to help tutor each other in its use.

The caster makes an obscene gesture at the target (typically involving a single skyward-thrust finger, although some principalities use two fingers instead) and a disembodied hand is conjured into being, hovering just out of the reach of the target. (Targets with spell resistance get a one-time check against the spell, fizzling it out if successful.)

The hand bobs and weaves, making the obscene gesture at the target all the time for one minute per level of the caster, until a dispel magic is cast upon the hand or until it's dispelled by attacks.

The hand has one hit point per level of the caster and an armour class equal to 10 - the level of the caster, reflecting the vigour with which the hand bobs and weaves and loops around in front of the target. The hand does not obscure the target's vision, and has no special effects beyond being both annoying and embarrassing to the subject.

Note that there must be an unobstructed path between the spellcaster and the target of the spell.
