Lhomarrian, Ilarnnian, and Y'hog swords

by Geoff Gander

Not much headway made on my module, but I did do some doodling ("I do doodle. You too. You do doodle too!") - note to self: doodling is cathartic. Now I have drawings of Lhomarrian, Ilarnnian, and Y'hog swords. It wasn't what I set out to do this evening, but it happened, and because it did the Universe obviously intended for it to be so. That's my story.

Anyhow, here's the image:

I tried to show a couple of things:

1. Lhomarr and Y'hog, despite being enemies, experienced some cross-pollination due to their contact. This is shown by their blade design. Most likely, the Lhomarrians took the standard Y'hog blade and modified it to suit their tastes. The standard Lhomarrian sword is technically a bastard sword.

2. Ilarnnian fighters have a distinct two-handed fighting style. They don't use shields. Ever. Ilarnnian warriors would, however, have expanded parrying options. And yes, the blade is intended to be slightly asymmetrical.
