The fall of Taymora

by Senarch

Okay another silly idea, but the fall of Taymora to the tune of auld lang syne by Chat GPT (edited)... Once sung in the taverns of Mystara by Taymoran refugees...

Should our lost homeland be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should we forget the lost cities,
That lie beneath the brine?

We'll raise a glass to Taymora,
Whose towers touched the sky,
And mourn the fate that led them to
The ocean depths to lie.

The cities lie in silence now,
Deep down below the waves,
Their secrets lost to time and tide,
The fate of kings and knaves.

Yet still we sing this mournful song,
To keep their memory bright,
And remember the lost cities,
That sank beneath the night.

So let us drink to Taymora,
And to the ocean's keep,
And raise our voices in this song,
For the cities drowned so deep.

For times long past, my dear,
For times long past,
We'll raise a glass to Taymora,
And the ruins 'neath the brine.

Should our lost homeland be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should we forget the cities lost,
In deep dark waters confined?

For times long past, they lived and thrived,
And built their cities tall.
But now those cities lie submerged,
Deep beneath the ocean's pall.

Their halls and towers, once so grand,
Now lost to history's keep.
But still we sing their tales and songs,
And in our memories keep.

So raise a glass to Taymora's past,
And to its lost cities fair.
For though they're gone, they still live on,
In stories that we share.

And when we hear the ocean's roar,
And feel the salt sea spray,
We'll think of Taymora's ruins deep,
And the tales of yesterday.
