Lesser Servitors of Yurrgh-Thal are horrible beings. Created by their foul master, the Outer Being known as Yurrgh-Thal, Lord of the Worm That Gnaws, they populate many dimensions existing outside the Prime. Never very numerous, the lesser servitors are physically more than a match for most creatures their size (8' tall).

In appearance they resemble burly humanoid figures, except that their bodies are composed almost entirely of writhing worms and maggots. No facial features are apparent, but they do "see", and they are able to speak, though their voices do not sound like those of any "normal" creature. Also, an unpleasant smell, not unlike that of rotting flesh, always accompanies them. Though not deadly, this smell does force anyone within 15 feet of a lesser servitor to make a Save vs. Poison or suffer a -1 penalty to all attack rolls and skill checks, due to nausea. Those that make the save are not required to make another for a period of 24 hours. Due to this odour, and the constant squelching sound when they move, lesser servitors cannot surprise anyone.

In combat, the lesser servitor is a deadly foe. Possessing great strength, they are able to deliver two powerful punches at one opponent. In addition to this, they can whip an opponent by extending one of the slithering worms comprising their bodies, and they may spew at an opponent. Once each round, a lesser servitor may spew a stream of maggots at a foe, which, if it hits, does 1d4 damage per round. The victim will suffer this damage each round, unless he or she spends three rounds brushing the maggots off. There is no limit to the amount of times a lesser servitor may do this. While being bitten, victims suffer a penalty of -4 to all actions.

As with other servants of the Outer Beings, lesser servitors of Yurrgh-Thal are vulnerable to those spells designed to combat such creatures. They are also affected by evilbane essence, taking 1d6 damage if they come into contact with it.
